Christian v. James - Complaint
Another of the seven federal civil rights lawsuits originated in New York against the so-called “Concealed Carry Improvements Act.” This case challenges the constitutionality of barring the concealed carry of firearms in “sensitive locations” and “restricted locations,” specifically public parks, public transportation, and with respect to private property open to the public – provisions of the CCIA.
The case is one of four that will be heard “in tandem” at the Second Circuit Court of Appeals in NYC, along with Antonyuk II v. Nigrelli, Hardaway v. Nigrelli, and Gazzola v. Hochul.
