Robinson v. Sessions: Petition to SCOTUS (2018)
In 2016, a group of more than 30 individuals and groups sued the US Attorney General, the FBI, the TSC, and the ATF for violating their right to privacy of their NICS Form 4473 because of its unauthorized use in comparing law-abiding gun owners against the “Terrorist Screening Database.” The DOJ admitted the allegations were correct. Even though the US Supreme Court denied cert and declined to hear the case, the Petition stands as a testament to the NICS-to-TSDB connection still in use.
The Petition is perfect bound by Counsel Press. 34 pp. plus Appendices, including the lower court decisions out of WDNY and 2Cir.
