GAZZOLA: ER Motion 08.29.2023
Gazzola v. Hochul. This was the second Emergency Motion plaintiffs filed in this case. The first, in January, was denied. There is now a significant shift against federally-licensed dealers underway, driving towards a major shift in background checks for firearms and ammunition in New York as of September 13, 2023. This motion sought to stay those changes. It also detailed dealer compliance inspections underway as of July 25, 2023.
