Gazzola v Hochul: Rule 11 Petition to SCOTUS

A case begun November 1, 2022, Gazzola v. Hochul is already pending on an emergency Sup Ct R. 11 Petition for Writ of Certiorari. The NYS response is due 02/08/2023. The case seeks a SCOTUS decision on eight questions, including whether novel theories of law under the Second Amendment words “to keep” have a likelihood of success for purposes of a court issuing a stay against enforcement of the challenged laws by defendant NYS Police. This is history in the making as “to keep” is put forward to gain protection for your local gun store to defend against targeting by defendant Gov. Kathy Hochul and her administration to be put out of business.
